BEFORE
SuccessFactors had an elaborate corporate site built on a homemade CMS and a mini-network of eight or so, much smaller foreign language sites with inconsistent branding and navigation.

AFTER
I worked with translators to render 16 near-perfect replicas of the Successfactors domestic site in a variety of foreign languages – French, Korean, Finnish, Spanish, etc. These international sites then replaced their HTML counterparts. A particular challenge here was figuring out how to code all these new sites such that the Flash animation, messaging and various sales and customer figures could be switched out on the fly across all sites, in 16 different languages, without breaking anything. This was my first experience driving an internationalization project or coding sites in foreign languages and extremely satisfying to complete.
