I’d originally been brought in to build a Sharepoint portal for the company’s Change Management team and a Joomla portal for their IT team, but it soon became obvious that their public-facing site – a sprawling affair with hundreds of pages, maintained via Dreamweaver – needed some help as well.

I researched various OS CMS platforms and made a recommendation (Drupal), working with PMs, vendors and a designer to develop a new look and feel and generate a content redevelopment schedule. With these steps thus underway, I conducted a site inventory, generated a new taxonomy, integrated the permissions, managed the development of new templates via a vendor (migrating the new content as these became ready), and finally relaunched the site.
